The portal has turnstiles operated by access cards and the latest CCTV over IP integrated into the box, providing full access control into and out of any site. Ideal for temporary sites, the container can be transported, relocated and set up quickly.
On average it takes five seconds for an individual to swipe their access card, go through and the turnstile lock behind them. Within the 6m x 3m x 3m container are three bi-directional turnstiles providing six lanes of controlled access with MiFare Desfire access card reader points. This means that approximately 700 people can enter per turnstile every hour, or 2,100 per ATEC container.
With one external connection for power and one for IP network connectivity, the ATEC container is quick and simple to set up with minimal wiring requirements. The control system also allows entrants to access via a portal on one side of the site and exit via another, ideal for a busy location. The ATEC system also enables access cards to be printed on site, following web form completion and ID checks.
