Intelligence has been built into the IXP220 2 door controllers, allowing them to function in isolation from the rest of the system holding the complete database. The controllers do not need to be connected to a PC to operate anti-passback, zone routing, mustering, fire alarm door release, etc.
All controllers can operate via the Ethernet or RS485 without requiring any additional equipment. Any type of reader can be connected to these controllers. Readers can be up to 100m away from the door controllers “offering engineers incredible flexibility when they get to site”.
BPT’s sales & marketing director, Janine Lewis said: “Product training is time consuming for installers so Impro has designed its new access control system to be exceptionally simple to learn, but at the same time a practical, competitive solution to all access control requirements, big and small, simple or complex.”
