Having relocated the business to a new property on the IDA Business Park, CBE was keen to upgrade its security arrangments and wanted the latest in electronic access control. The company needed a flexible installation that offered the advantages of a fully featured hard wired system, but at a more competitive cost.
Salto’s comfort range was specified, and 20 Mifare controlled offline locks in a stainless steel finish were fitted to the building’s internal doors. Two front and back external doors were hard wired with Salto’s ‘roll call’ feature, allowing CBE to track employees ‘live’ throughout the building, and enabling the company to know who was granted or denied access at any door and when.
Entrance and exit access through both external doors is controlled via Mifare-enabled staff ID cards validated at ‘hot spot’ wall mounted readers.
