The IXP220 has been designed to offer a simple, cost-effective and easy-to-install and scalable system.
The IXP220 two-door controllers are designed to be intelligent, allowing them to function in isolation from the rest of the system holding the complete database. The manufacturers hope that the feature that sets the IXP220 apart from the market leader is independence – the two door controllers can operate anti-passback, zone routing, mustering, fire alarm door release and so on without being connected to a PC.
All the controllers can operate via the Ethernet or RS485 without requiring any additional equipment. Any type of reader can be connected to these controllers from standard proximity, HID, RF or biometric options. And, say the manufacturers, the Impro readers can be operated up to 100m away from the door controllers, offering engineers flexibility on site.
BPT offers free commissioning with every installer’s first Impro installation plus training and help with quotes and specifications.
