Paxton release Net2 Entry, their first door entry access control system

Paxton Access has released their first door entry system, Net2 Entry, a simple to install new product that Paxton describe as “the simplest door entry system on the market.”

Paxton claim that “record numbers” of people visited their stand at IFSEC International this year to try out the new system.

Net2 Entry works with a standard PoE switch and can sustain up to a hundred panels and thousands of monitors.

Installers can therefore offer a scalable solution that works with large and small sites. The system comes with a monitor, panel and a door controller that all use auto-detect on set up, and as group chief executive Adam Stroud demonstrates in the video below, the whole system is very much geared towards ‘plug and play.’

Other key features include:

  • Intuitive, touchscreen monitor with built in help and features;
  • Brushed steel finish on the exterior panel is smart and durable;
  • Voice call, proximity and keypad capabilities available;
  • Works with or without Net2 Access Control;
  • Free management software included.

Paxton will be running a series of workshops for installers to find out more about how the new Net2 Entry system works.

An evaluation kit or a demo case are available from Paxton now for GB pound 450 and GB pound 350 respectively to help installers selling the door entry solution to prospective customers.

The evaluation kit can be seen in action in the video below.

Adam Stroud, Group Chief Executive at Paxton, said: “Net2 Entry is a new venture for Paxton, as we extend our reach from access control into the door entry market. We wanted to take our access control expertise and prior knowledge of related technologies and marry these with the needs of the door entry market, providing an intelligent and simple solution.

“We hope that this will help our installers to excel and win sales in both areas, access control and door entry. The feedback from installers has already exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to see Net2 Entry in action solving real life problems.”
