It’s “terrifyingly easy” to make drones that can identify and fire weapons at targets – independently of human control, experts have warned.
Hundreds of videos explaining how to rig a variety of guns onto drones are freely available on YouTube.
Professor Noel Sharkey, co-founder of the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots and the International Committee for Robot Arms Control, told the SunOnline that the government had been warned about a “massive hole in our security” since 2007.
