BOSCH SECURITY SYSTEMS HAS introduced what’s believed to be the industry’s first tri-technology fire detector. The new MAGIC.SENS family comprises intelligent multi-sensor fire detectors that combine up to three different sensors for optical, temperature and combustion gas detection – helping to dramatically reduce false alarms and improve the accuracy of detection for the end user.
The Bosch detectors employ an intelligent assessment of ambient conditions plus separate temperature, smoke and CO chemical sensors to accurately determine whether a fire exists, rejecting any deceptive phenomena such as dust or steam.
