Fire reignites at paper recycling plant

[

A fire at a paper recycling plant in north Wales reignited yesterday, almost a week after the original fire broke out.

According to reports in the Flintshire Standard, Ffirefighters had to return to the Paperback Collection and Recylcing unit on Deeside Industrial Estate when paper reignited during the demolition of the building.

The 40m x 80m warehouse was gutted by the original fire, when 35 firefighters spent hours tackling the blaze. Four employees who were working on the site at the time were evacuated safely, and nearby buildings were also evacuated.
