Buckinghamshire firefighters were forced to break into a dry cleaners to put out a candle that was in danger of igniting other flammable material.
They arrived at around 11.00pm last Saturday night to find a candle had been left burning on a window sill, next to other candles and a wooden floor. According to the South Bucks Press, they were unable to contact the shop owner and get the keys, so the decision was made to break into the shop by removing a plate of glass from the shop window.
It is not known precisely which method the firefighters used to extinguish the candle.
