The lineup for the FIREX Academy at FIREX International 2013 was revealed today, with speakers including Wilf Butcher of the ASFP and IFSEC Global contributor Warren Spencer.
The education programme runs for all four days of FIREX International and covers a range of trends and issues in the fire safety community.
Particular highlights of the seminar programme include:
- Strathclyde FRS and Cornwall FRS representatives will discuss common factors in the fatal fires at the Rosepark Care Home and the Penhallow Hotel.
- Solicitor Warren Spencer will ask whether fire risk assessors are an endangered species.
- Wilf Butcher of the ASFP will discuss whether sustainability and fire safety undermine each other.
This year’s FIREX International seminar content is being organised under the banner of the FIREX Academy and will focus on high-level training and insight.
