First fix on fire

EVERY BRANCH IN GARDINER Security’s 50-strong network now offers a comprehensive range of first fix fire products at competitive prices, helping installers keep up-to-date with recent BS5839-1 legislation on fire detection and alarm systems.
“There are new requirements on design, installation, commissioning and maintenance, as well as false alarm management and the use of enhanced fire resistant cable,” said Gardiner’s national fire sales manager David Hynds.
The company has also expanded its access control division sales team to its biggest ever, including the key appointment of Jack Martin who will represent Gardiner’s in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
‘Big Jack’ (who stands 6ft 4ins) is well known in the industry, having previously worked for VCL, Vicon and Cardkey.
