Red Book Live to inform at Firex

[

A practical approach to the Fire Safety Order, wireless and voice alarm systems, and designing fire safety in buildings are just three of the topics to be featured in the Red Book Live pavilion seminar programme at International Firex in May.

The programme will be part of Red Book Live, a new feature at the event which aims to provide visitors and exhibitors with advice and information on all aspects of third party certification and product standards. Other topics will include presentations on fixed gaseous extinguishing systems, passive fire protection and the product approval process.
“The LPCB Red Book Live pavilion is a fantastic opportunity to not only promote the importance of high quality approved products and services in the fire protection sector, but also inform visitors about the intricacies of fire safety,” commented Carol Atkinson, LPCB chief executive. “We are proud to be working with International Firex, as it is one of the world’s leading industry events.”
Gerry Dunphy, event manager of International Firex added: “The new LPCB Red Book Live pavilion is set to be a hugely successful and popular feature. We believe it will enhance the show’s importance to the fire safety industry and as such, many manufacturers listed in the Red Book are participating in the show.”
International Firex 2009 will be co-located with Fire & Rescue, IFSEC, Safety & Health Expo, and The Facilities Show, all taking place from 12-14 May 2009 at the NEC in Birmingham.
