Along with Homeland Security India, it is the only truly international business-to-business exhibition of its kind in the region, and has made its foothold amongst the most prominent and important exhibitions in the commercial and homeland security sector in the country.

IFSEC India and Homeland Security India are organised by UBM India, a subsidiary of UBM, organiser of IFSEC UK.

War on Terror conference

This year IFSEC India, in partnership with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham), will feature the Homeland Security India conference titled, “War against terror- A challenge to our Homeland Security.”

The Homeland Security India Conference 2011 is a vital event for all homeland and commercial security professionals in both the public and private sector in India.

The Conference will focus on the advice, solutions and systems required for vigilance and security.

Speakers include representatives from both the Central and State Governments. Some of the key speakers include B K Gupta, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi; K Vijay Kumar, Director General, Central Reserve Police Force; Dr. Gulshan Rai, Director General, I-CERT and GC (Cyber Laws Group Formulation & Enforcement Division) and Amarjit Singh Daulat, former Director General, Research and Analysis Wing.

Positive response
Exhibition director Nigel Luke Brown said: “This year again as always we’ve received very positive responses from the industry and I am very excited with the way the industry is reacting towards the event.

“Even with choices available to exhibitors, they still consider IFSEC the safest marketing tool and invest most of their budget with us.”

This event aims to bring together security experts from various industries including financial services, infrastructure, public safety, law enforcement retail, realty and hospitality – all searching for the latest products and services in the security market.

A strong international network and an extensive domestic and international database has enabled IFSEC India to reach out to the global homeland and commercial security industry, which has also helped to bring awareness about the potential of the local security industry as a buyer and a supplier to the world.
