Tesco has awarded a fire alarm maintenance and breakdown contract for all its retail and office premises in Britain to Alarmtec. The company has previously designed, installed and commissioned detection and alarm systems for both new and refitted stores for Tesco.
In addition, Alarmtec also provides maintenance and call out cover to many of Tesco’s distribution warehouses.
Mel Dalston of Alarmtec said the company won the contract against strong competition and had to work very closely with the retailer. “To secure this contract not only did we have to get the price right, but prove to Tesco we could do the job well and on time too,” he said.
