BSIA civil aviation security section chairman Martin Aggar said: “The ministerial statement invites airports to take advantage of new technologies and operational innovations, whilst providing better service to passengers.
“The security industry is constantly developing new technologies which can contribute to ensuring the improved efficiency of passengers moving through airports whilst increasing levels of security. We will continue to work closely with aviation authorities to ensure that our expertise is maximised for the benefit of the nation’s security.”
