BSIA chief executive David Dickinson said: “I am delighted that the Minister is able to join us to open our new premises.
“At our Annual Lunch, the Minister praised the private security industry for its contribution to public safety. We appreciate this support for our vital, and often under-appreciated industry.”
Vernon Coaker said the move would “allow it to provide an enhanced service to members, This in turn will help to promote professional standards, ensuring better public safety. The private security industry is a significant business sector that is increasingly well trained and resourced. I wish the Association every success in its new premises.”
- BSIA company secretary George Cross has celebrated 20 years of service at the association. David Dickinson said: “During the last 20 years George has expertly managed the association’s finances and ensured the maintenance of high standards of probity amongst the membership.”
“I’m sure the whole membership will join me in congratulating him, and warmly thanking him for his efforts.”
