The new mystery product will be on display along with Connexion2’s full range of products and services, and its staff will be on hand to advise visitors on how to assess their business risk with regard to lone working and discuss the implications of current legislation.
Connexion2 is also looking to arrange meetings with potential partners on developing their lone worker business and discussing the BS8484 standard, its implication for the industry in the UK, and its effect on planned legislation in other countries.
Connexion2 says its Identicom is the UK’s most widely used dedicated lone worker device, with over 100,000 devices shipped since its launch in 2004.
The Identicom range comes with variants including GPS enabled devices to offer increased safety, and others able to integrate with the Mobile Workforce Management Platform – a secure online portal for lone worker managers to assist best practice, productivity and flexibility of resources.
Connexion2 is the inaugural sponsor of the new Lone Worker Protection Product Area at IFSEC International 2012. The company will be on Stand F32 in Hall 3 of IFSEC International, which runs from 14-17 May 2012 at the NEC Birmingham.
