Panasonic System Networks Europe continues sales team expansion with appointment of Martin Morris

Morris brings with him a wide range of industry understanding from a number of different organisations and roles including periods as a sales manager, Internet consultant, IP security consultant and even a directorship at Grandstream Networks.

Morris began his career as an assistant manager dealing with smaller phone retailers. He later went on to become a director of the aforementioned Grandstream Networks, where he was responsible for promoting video surveillance products into the UK marketplace.

Morris’ specialisation in network video surveillance and broad knowledge of the deployment and licensing of desktop and server OS and applications will enhance the established team at PSNE (the division of Panasonic Systems Group that currently provides security, network communications, imaging and document solutions).

When asked to explain his reasons for joining and what he can offer the Panasonic team, Morris said: “I’m interested in bringing my knowledge to Panasonic and also gaining new experience. Over the years, through providing managed services to clients, I have always remained focused on meeting customer and organisational requirements. This has helped me to develop many strong and successful business relationships that will be useful at Panasonic”.

The projects Morris will be working on will include products and solutions from the industry acclaimed i-Pro and i-Pro SmartHD surveillance ranges including WJ-NV200 NVR as well as the more recently announced WV-SW155 Super Dynamic, ONVIF compliant dome that delivers 720p HD streams at up to 30 images per second.

South East Security Solutions team welcomes Giuseppe Cinquemani

Meanwhile, Giuseppe Cinquemani recently joined PSNE as South East area sales manager.

Giuseppe brings with him more than 16 years’ experience from Ingram Micro and Axis Communications where he helped establish a distribution channel and partner programme for IP surveillance.

His “invaluable” IP surveillance and account management knowledge will enhance the collective experience in the established and growing team at PSNE.

“Panasonic is a global brand leader that offers a complete IP, analogue and hybrid solution enabling installers and end users to minimise total cost of ownership,” explained Cinquemani.

“With the latest i-Pro SmartHD solution, Panasonic has developed a system that enables the right balance of camera HD imaging performance and network throughput. This means that we have an extremely compelling solution, especially in what are still tough economic times.”
