Visitors will be able to see the products, which are installed at nuclear facilities, industrial plants, airports and embassies around the world, at stand 16069 in the Access Control and Security Solutions zone.
“Senstar products are being endorsed for general reliability and precise detection capabilities,” said Chris Norton, Senstar’s UK managing director.
“Our innovative technology maximises sensor performance and so makes perimeter protection credible to the client.”
‘Double knock’
According to Norton, authorities like British Standards are making demands for ‘double knock’ systems that require two separate activations before emergency services are called out to sites. He said Senstar’s fence and barrier-mounted sensors can be used as the first trigger, while underground units act as the second, covert layer of defence.
One such product, OmniTrax, a volumetric detection system that generates an invisible electromagnetic field around buried sensor cables, can determine the location of an intruder to the nearest metre. The covert system is being aimed towards integrators and end-users involved with sensitive sites that need unobtrusive protection, and is currently installed at “VIP residences” and other high-security facilities.
Norton added, “Recent applications of our products underline their wide-ranging suitability for infrastructure, health care facilities, industrial premises, embassies, borders and high-profile residences.”
