QFAS perimeter fencing scheme up-and-running

The scheme allows fencing companies to offer low cost but meaningful insurance to end users for all types of fences, covering defective workmanship and materials for up to 10 years.

QFAS is offering membership to all fencing companies that agree to abide by its inspection regime, which includes self-inspection and sign-off of all installations, independent inspection of randomly-selected installations and annual financial auditing. Initially, the scheme is being promoted to over 10,000 users and specifiers, including local authorities.

“QFAS protection will be a major attraction to buyers nationwide,” suggested QFAS chairman and Harper Chalice managing director Graham Harper. “From now on, anyone specifying a QFAS-approved perimeter protection solution will enjoy the double reassurance of a quality inspection regime and insurance cover.”
