Skills for Security conducts locksmiths’ qualifications & apprenticeships survey

This research project was identified by the Locksmiths Advisory Working Group as an essential part of the qualification development work currently under way.

Skills for Security says: “Every employer’s opinion is important and you are all welcome to take part – whether you are a sole trader, a small/medium sized business or a large, national organisation.

“The survey invites employers’ views on the range of training and qualifications available now and changes proposed for the future, including an apprenticeship framework if that is what the industry needs.”

The survey is available now at:

Responses are needed by Friday 15 July.
