Aperio uses smart technology to enable the wireless conversion of mechanical locks into existing access control systems with minimal door modification, allowing easy and cost effective expansion of existing systems within refurbished or remodeled public and commercial buildings.
Assa Abloy will also be showcasing Abloy’s CLIQ Remote; an internet-based security management system that allows programming of cylinders, padlocks and keys to provide remote access control across disparate sites requiring high levels of security within existing master key systems.
Assa Abloy’s HiO (Highly Intelligent Opening) technology for electronic door components will also be on display. This system provides advanced diagnostic information by building intelligence into each device instead of a centralised logic unit, allowing the health of the door opening to be easily communicated.
Watchlock unveiled
Assa Abloy is also be unveiling the newest addition to its product portfolio, Watchlock, available with an integrated GPS system for real time control and with cellular connectivity for reporting. Users can be informed instantly by e-mail or SMS whether the padlock has been opened or closed, when and where.
Assa Abloy’s Matt Thomas said: “For Assa Abloy, IFSEC is one of the most important exhibitions of the year and provides a great platform for the group to showcase its industry-leading range of intelligent security solutions for a wide range of end-user markets, including health, education, commercial and utilities.
“This year’s show promises to be our most exciting yet and we’re expecting to generate a lot of interest in some of our newest, smart technology solutions, such as the Aperio, CLIQ , HiO and Watchlock systems.”
