The Security Liaison Unit, part of Metropolitan Police’s Diplomatic Protection group, is benefiting from the exclusive use of a Vauxhall Astra for the next two years.
The SLU provides counter-terrorism and security advice to more than 300 Embassy, High Commission, residential and iconic premises across the country. The car allows the unit’s five members to carry out their work without impacting on the DPG’s operational fleet.
