Two security officers are being given the opportunity to travel to the USA to represent their company and country – and we have the entry form for you on the right hand side of this very page.
Brian Sims reported on the story back at the start of May, when he described the programme as “designed to heighten the security profession’s profile and the vitally important role played by security officers within different communities”. The programme’s basic goal is to introduce an exhange of Best Practice techniques and ideas.
The two American security officers involved will be seconded to the UK for one week in July, during which time their itinerary includes visits to the Palace of Westminster, the Tower of London, the world famous Harrods store, London University and University College Hospital.
The two British security officers selected will travel to the States and ‘shadow’ their American counterparts. Within their itinerary is a visit to the FBI.
