The deal will see ComGuard distributing ArcSight’s Network Configuration Manager, Threat Response Management and Logger products across a network of security and network resellers in the region.
ArcSight, which is in the process of expanding its distribution channels around the world, hopes the partnership will give it better access to its customers.
Jonathan Cooper, director of partners and ArcSight’s EMEA distribution channel, said, “ComGuard is an established, forward-thinking distributor with great experience in the region, and has an extensive reseller network in North Africa and the Middle East.
“They have a complementary networking and security product portfolio and have already built up successful vendor best-in-class partnerships.”
ComGuard is expected to follow a value-added distributor model and the partnership will cover co-marketing and the selling of ArcSight appliance solutions to ComGuard’s reseller base, which is spread across 23 countries.
