Richard Stones MSc CSyP FSyI manages the Nottinghamshire Police Pre-Crime Unit and is a director of the National Business Crime Forum, a body that provides true PPP representation to the UK Government on the risk and security issues facing UK business.
In addition, Stones is a director of the East Midlands Business Crime Forum. He serves as an advisory council member to the City Security and Resilience Network (CSARN), a member of the UN Public-Private Partnerships Project in protecting crowded places and the NATO workshop on information and intelligence sharing.
Stones is a technical advisor to the EU-funded DESURBS project focused on the design of safer urban spaces.
Interestingly, Stones is the first serving police or military officer to achieve Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) status and is a Fellow of The Security Institute.
He holds an MSc in Security and Risk Management.
Taking a lead on convergence
Since leaving the Royal Air Force in 2006, Alan Jenkins has added management consulting experience in business development, delivery and pre-sales in both the public and private sectors to his CV in the role of a trusted advisor and SME.
From July 2008, he served in a corporate security governance, risk management and compliance as CSC’s (UK) Chief Security Officer (CSO) at director level.
On 1 July last year, Alan joined T-Systems Ltd as its CSO.
Alan now takes over as ASIS UK’s convergence lead from James Willison, who is focusing on his work with ASIS across Europe.
