It comes equipped with a newly developed high-performance DSP and 2.8~10mm 3.6x Varifocal Auto Iris lens. It also incorporates Adaptive Black Stretch technology to provide crisp images even in dark areas of a scene.
The built-in day/night feature of the WV-CF324 automatically switches from colour to black and white when light in the surrounding area dims. Sensitivity is 0.9 lux in colour.
The camera has a claimed resolution of 540 TV lines in colour, and includes a new Auto Back Focus mechanism for easier installation. After adjusting the viewing angle, it is possible to focus the camera simply by pushing the ABF button on the camera body.
Other adjustment features of the Panasonic WV-CF324 include Back Light Compensation, Auto Tracing White Balance and Automatic Light Control. The three-way hinge (horizontal, vertical and swivel rotation) also allows for flexible installation.
