The award recognises ‘significant contributions to security professionalism’.

Of late, Brian – who’s an Honorary Fellow of The Security Institute – has been at the forefront of pivotal debates on the future of private sector regulation, law enforcement and Olympic Games security, and has interviewed a plethora of industry-leading commentators to elicit Best Practice viewpoints on behalf of all security professionals.
In addition, Brian serves as a judge on several industry award schemes (among them the BSIA Security Personnel of the Year Awards), chairs and speaks at numerous high profile conferences and is one of the founding partners of the massively successful 100 in 100 campaign designed to recruit security apprentices.

Voting process now open
The Board has decided to open the voting to the Institute membership (at grades of Associate, Member or Fellow only).
The closing date for voting is 10 October, and votes may be placed on The Security Institute website.
The winner will be announced at The Security Institute’s Remembrance Lecture, which takes place on 8 November at Brown’s Courtroom in central London.
