BSIA CCTV Section chairman Pauline Norstrom led the session, which included Case Studies relating to BS 8418 and its application, as well as the latest industry statistics.
The presentation also considered the impact of IP technology on the application of the British Standard and in providing bottom line security, at the same time examining the financial benefits of BS 8418 compliance.
Pauline’s presentation was underpinned by current figures relating to BS 8418’s ability to dramatically reduce false activations.
