Baldwin Boxall Communications has developed a call response system designed to complement its range of public alarms, including its recently released stand-alone disabled toilet alarm kit.
The CallCare system uses either pull cord or infrared technology to raise the alarm, and calls can be prioritised based on preferences set for different locations.
The device is typically worn around the neck and works via a pull cord, which links to a wall mounted infrared device. The pull cord which is used in toilet and bath areas uses two ‘G’ shaped ring pulls which complies with BS 8300:2001.
An overdoor light and a sound alert reassure callers that the alarm has been raised. Each unit includes a local reset point and up to three trigger points. CallCare is hardwired, using standard wiring and comprises a 32- or 99-way display controller.
