Chubb electronic security (CES) has embarked on a major programme to inform the business community about the far reaching implications of the policy.
As part of its communication programme, it has produced an information leaflet and set up a help line. It was also the main sponsor of an exhibition at New Century Hall, Corporation Street, Manchester.
Security 2001 was organised by the BSIA in conjunction with Manchester Crime Prevention Panel, Greater Manchester Police and Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Principal seminar speaker was Steve Entrey Jones, Head of False Alarm Management at Manchester Police who explained the local variations to the policy.
