CNL joins axis ADP scheme

CNL has joined Axis Communication’s Application Development Partner (ADP) programme, which will enable the two companies to work closer together with the aim of providing better solutions for end users.

The Axis ADP program was created to assist software developers fully integrate Axis network video products in end user solutions, by providing application components such as VAPIX, technical documentation, SDKs, and dedicated development support. The program ensures product compatibility and helps software developers provide reliable and optimised network video management solutions for most industry segments.

CNL says membership of the ADP programme enables them to integrate greater functionality of Axis cameras within its software IPSecurityCenter, as more information is shared between the companies.

Keith Bloodworth, CEO of CNL, said: “It is relationships like this created today that will shape the future of security systems tomorrow. We are proud to be part of this change; for too long now organisations have had to compromise the technology they adopt to secure their people, customers and assets. As security risks increase around the globe, the difference between adequate security and exceptional security is critical to us all.”

As part of the partnership, CNL will join Axis’s Industry Solution Seminar series. The next seminar will focus on improving security and efficiency within the Emergency Services. This is a sector where CNL has extensive expertise, having developed solutions for some of the largest police forces in the UK.

Phil Doyle, managing director of Axis Communications UK, said: “As an Axis Development Partner, CNL works closely with the Axis team to provide a truly integrated solution to the end user. CNL’s considerable expertise in the Emergency Services arena makes them the ideal partner to showcase a targeted solution at our seminar series.”

The seminar will also feature speakers from Milestone and Paxton. It will take place on April 30th at Highgate house in Northampton. For more information about the Axis Industry Solution Seminars, contact Alexandra Turner on Alexandra.turner@axis.com or +44 (0)1462 427910.
