Command and control provider NowForce receive $4m investment

Cloud-based command and control solutions provider, NowForce have announced that they have secured $4m of investment aimed at expanding into new markets in North America, Eurioe and Africa.

The Tel-Aviv-based company describe themselves as a frontrunner in on-demand response mobile applications.

Their technology allows mobile phones to be turned into life-saving networks, and their solutions are highly scalable, meaning they are suitable for small volunteer organisations, or much larger security companies.

They have a range of tools to enable staff to stay in constant communication with their dispatch – and for dispatch to stay in touch with them.

The company use a software as a service model (SaaS) meaning that they can use existing GPS-enabled phones as the hardware for their tools. This reduces cost, and the technology is paid for on a per-user basis, rather than a fixed high price for the suite.

Assaf Shafran, founder and CEO of NowForce, said, “This funding is a great vote of confidence in the company’s vision and path to becoming the premier provider of on-demand command and control solutions, and will give us the ability to immediately implement our ambitious growth plans. As the leading innovator in this emerging market space, we plan to use the funding to invest heavily in ensuring the continued success of our current customers and to further accelerate our customer acquisition efforts and entry into new geographies.”

The investment was led by Indigo Strategic Partners and Winnovation. Managing partner Ari Harrow, said, “NowForce is redefining the way emergency response and security organizations operate, directly impacting the effectiveness or their response and the efficiency of their operations.”
