de Vere will have special responsibility for developing Connexion2’s new SoloProtect portfolio of lone worker security management training and consultancy services.
SoloProtect encompasses a unique suite of professional services, designed to provide comprehensive support in respect of all aspects of lone worker protection. The solutions offered are not reliant on the implementation of technology alone.
The services provide employers with guidance and training on bespoke risk assessment toolkits, lone worker policy development, conflict management, lone worker safety, managing a mobile workforce and legal Duty of Care. All services are tailored to meet the exacting needs of the client organisation, and are delivered by experienced professionals.
For her part, de Vere brings to Connexion2 extensive sector knowledge and experience, and is held in the highest regard in the security arena. She has many years experience working in the NHS, leading on lone working guidelines and policies within the NHS Counter Fraud and Security Management Service (CFSMS). Ann also boasts a wealth of experience in lone working, security and Identicom-based projects.
Working closely with employer organisations
In addition to developing the new portfolio of SoloProtect services, Ann will work closely with employers to meet the exacting needs of their organisations, managers and employees when it comes to enhancing the protection of their lone workers.
The new services will not be restricted to Identicom users, and will be equally beneficial to employers and employees where lone worker safety technology is not necessarily in place.
Commenting on the appointment, Craig Swallow – the company’s managing director – told SMT Online: “I’m delighted to announce Ann’s appointment as SoloProtect services director. Her talent and wealth of experience will be of great benefit to our customers, and will be invaluable in the future as we develop further Connexion2’s position in the lone worker market.”
