Its portfolio includes video analytics, and a ‘virtual turnstile’ that can control access to venues with no need for a physical barrier.
The division will work alongside CST to provide complete security and communications packages designed for businesses. The launch follows CST’s acquisition of a specialist security systems company.
“The SST portfolio complements our current range of communications and software systems,” said Ashley Sheppard, sales director of CST.
“Our communications expertise, combined with SST’s ground-breaking security products, allows us to offer a uniquely integrated and powerful portfolio of communications and security products and systems.
“We are already building on SST’s in-house expertise and innovative product research programme to develop new products.”
SST’s core business is CCTV systems. All systems are supplied, installed and maintained by SST’s engineers.
Sheppard said: “The virtual turnstile is a pioneering access control system that combines several of SST’s developments to offer a modern and more effective alternative to the traditional turnstile.”
