Firewatch south west of Newton Abbot has become the first company in the UK to be accredited both for the BAFE SP203 scheme for fire detection, alarms and suppression systems, and the BAFE ST104 scheme for registered technicians.
Both schemes are becoming a fundamental requirement for many specifiers of fire protection products, as a means of demonstrating a company’s competency in these disciplines, says BAFE, especially with the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order which brings the issue of competency into sharp focus.
