The upgrade consisted of replacing the existing system with nine Dynapel Interceptor PTZ domes and a CloseView tracking system, all supplied by Genie. Static Genie C5352 digital day/night DNR cameras were selected to provide surveillance images in the bar, restaurant and reception areas, with all cameras fed back to two 16-channel Genie GDVR-160 MPEG-4 DVRs.
Jones Electrical installed over nine kilometres of Cat 5e cable, mainly laid in underground ducts that link various farm buildings, including the 17th Century Tythe Barn. Two cables are installed to each of the Dynapel domes in readiness for the second stage of the upgrade which will see each one have a CloseView tracking system fitted.
