DSS expands customer base with acquisitions

The buyouts add to DSS’ customer base of over 5000, which includes high street retailers, hospitals, public buildings and commercial properties around the UK.

“The acquisition of these well-established quality companies strengthens the DSS portfolio and contract base whilst also providing new regional centres,” said Peter Swain, the company’s owner and managing director.

“They are an important part of our growth strategy and expansion across the UK.”

Homelink Technologies, which was sold to BT for GB pound 10m in 2002, provides ‘Safehome’ installation and maintenance of alarms for a number of local authority housing regeneration projects in the Midlands and the North.

MSS has over 3000 customers in the East Midlands and will continue to operate from its current offices in Littleover, Derbyshire. John Keith (pictured, right) will remain at the company to provide continuity for MSS customers.
