Representing a simple method of combating crime, these slimline panels are operated by the simple turn of a handle. This allows either a clear view to the outside or complete privacy when in the closed position. They are said to offer “much better through vision than fish-eye apertures or traditional spy holes” such that callers can be identified more easily.
The product has received Secured By Design approval, and is ideal for multi-occupant dwellings (including apartment blocks).
The panels are maintenance-free and available as ready-made 500 x200 x 18 mm units for direct integral installation by door manufacturers (or for retrofit into any standard 44 mm door), although they can also be made bespoke for the end user.
