Fire companies win royal seal of approval

[

Two UK fire companies – Apollo Fire Detectors and Kentec Electronics –

have been granted Royal Warrants from the Queen for their supply of

detection and alarm equipment to the Royal Household.

Royal warrants are granted to companies or individuals who have

supplied goods or services for at least five years to the Queen, the

Duke of Edinburgh or the Prince of Wales. As warrant holders, the

companies may display the royal arms of the Queen and the legend ‘By

Appointment’ on their products, premises, stationery and advertising.

Managing director of Apollo, Danny Burns, said: “Royal Warrant Holders

are united by their commitment to the highest standards of service and

excellence. We are very honoured to receive this prestigious accolade

and will continue to uphold the exceptionally high standards the Royal

Warrant represents.”
