The RAID license enables the DVR’s on-board RAID technology to ensure maximum protection of recorded video, says Norbain. Even if a hard disk fails, no stored video is lost.
The H.264 IP camera license allows a system to be expanded by connecting up to four H.264 cameras to the recorder.
The DVR has four front-replaceable HD drives and “extensive integration features”. It is said to be “ideal” for medium to large-scale or growing systems.
