BT redcare’s systems are already compliant with the new standards but the roadshows are open to registered installers who have already signed up for the redcare risk assessment programme.
Registered installers will also get a discount off the SSAIB’s ongoing programme of EN50131 courses.
The redcare seminars will provide top-level introduction and background on the implementation of the European Norm 50131 in the UK and allow delegates to hear expert opinions. There will also be overviews of how to comply with the regulations and deal with any perceived problems as well as pointers towards further education and training.
ECS Ltd, an independent training company has developed the seminars, and will also chair the sessions. The speakers will include NSI and SSAIB representatives.
The first seminar will be held at Sevenoaks in Kent on March 10, with several of the venues providing a choice of morning or afternoon sessions.
