ISO 14001 is an environmental standard and specifies the actual requirements for an environmental management system.
G4Tec believes it is the first company in the security industry to receive this environmental accreditation.
The company said that gaining the certification has delivered a number of practical benefits, including a reduction in waste.
Senior Environmental Representative, Nick Ball said: “The ISO 14001 certification has enabled us to develop a clear environmental policy and supporting systems that reflect the investment and commitment of G4Tec.”
The company added that its assessment report from the BSI commended it in particular for the extent of its waste recycling.
