Said to be approved for use in timber fire doors, as part of BM Trada’s Q Mark Scheme, Pyrobelite 12 and Pyrobel 25 fire-resistant glass products are available from Glaverbel. Both products offer fire protection from 30 minutes integrity, up to 120 minutes integrity and insulation when glazed in tested systems.
The Pyrobel range offers a combination of fire protection, the neutrality and transparency of clear glass, and the flexibility of large glazing dimensions. According to the company, stock is held locally by approved processors, can be cut to order, and is available on excellent lead times.
