Guard dogs standard issued for comment

The latest date for receipt of comments is Wednesday 28 February.

In formulating the document, the British Standards Institution (BSI) approached the National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) to use its Code of Practice as the basis to develop the first-ever British Standard for security dogs. This was agreed upon and, following a number of meetings with the BSI and other industry experts, the draft was prepared which is now open for public consultation.

The draft British Standard is available for review and comment online via the BSI British Standards Draft Review System. See the dedicated link on the right hand panel of this page. Registration is free and takes less than a minute.

Alternatively, readers can obtain further information from NASDU Head Office (telephone: 01483 888588, e-mail: info@nasdu.co.uk)
