Green Leopard’s Voicebox system has been designed to improve the quality of communication over in-house radio systems and features a revolutionary new throat microphone.
Fitting around guards’ necks, the microphone uses patented vibration technology that enables staff to be heard using their normal speaking voice. The Northamptonshire designers say this is possible because Voicebox eliminates 90 percent of all background noise.
The waterproof headsets are available in mono or stereo and can be upgraded with soft silicone ear hooks and acoustic tubes.
Voicebox technology has already been used by Mountain Air Sea Rescue, on the Tour de France and by Brinks security staff.
