Abloy Security has launched a heavy-duty door operator, which has been specially designed for use in high-density pedestrian traffic areas, including hospitals, airports, hotels, shopping centres and all public buildings.
The DA361 can be used on external and internal doors, both single and double. It is suited for fire doors, as it has been developed to meet the requirements of the EN13501-2 and EN1634-1 standards and can be connected directly to fire alarm systems.
Each DA361 door operator incorporates a power supply unit, motor control board, door closing mechanism, and position sensors in a single, compact and robust unit. The system is said to feature sophisticated control mechanisms, with an electro-mechanical clutch and hydraulic closing system.
The door operator can be configured to assist manual opening and is programmable to push-and-go mode, for use in locations where a small force to open the door is needed. This feature makes the device particularly useful for people with disabilities.
