Honeywell ‘bridges gap’ with latest version of DVR

Fusion III firmware v3.5 includes new features like fully-integrated video and data analytics and expanded support for digital IP video sources, and it can be integrated with Honeywell’s intelligent video analytics using the company’s Active Alert, Smart Impressions and People Counter products.

The new version also expands support for digital video sources including encoders and megapixel cameras. It can process up to 16 channels of digital IP and offers advanced motion detection.

Camera sabotage and analogue signal noise filtering now come as standard and all of these features are backed up by a new user interface which is said to be easier to operate.

“Fusion III v3.5 provides centralised video management for installations of all sizes,” said Chris Koetsier, EMEA marketing leader at Honeywell.

“And with the addition of intelligent video analytics, Fusion automates the continuous surveillance process even further. It’s ideal for banking and financial institutions, large retail chains, educational institutions, military bases, government agencies, manufacturing plants, utility sites and parking garages.”
