IFSEC 2011: Y3K selects J2K Video’s SharpView to launch its cameras

Y3K selected SharpView after ‘exhaustive’ testing of NVR and VMS systems on the market.

“We wanted a highly reliable product that could cope with several HD1080p cameras at once and SharpView was the only system that held up to the exhaustive testing during our trials,” said Paul Singh, sales director of Y3K.

“We found the software really easy to use with excellent features designed for megapixel video included as standard”.

It is hoped that the move will allow Y3K customers to design and build systems that are fit for purpose without having to pay ‘erroneous licensing costs’ that are commonly found with enterprise grade VMS suppliers, the company said.

“The integration of alarms, intercoms and CCTV using an excellent mapping plug-in provides users with a single security platform that is leading the way in megapixel video applications,” Jay Patel, managing director of J2K Video. “We are pleased to be chosen by Y3K following their independent testing and look forward to working with a leading CCTV technology distributor.”

For more information, visit Y3K’s stand at IFSEC, at Birmingham’s NEC. The company can be found at hall 4, stand K20, on what is the last day of the annual security conference.
