Ahead of IFSEC Istanbul, which opens for the first time on Monday, the BSIA has put together a preview of the UK pavilion at the event.
Among the UK exhibitors due to be present at the Lufti Kirdar Istanbul Exhibition Centre from Monday, September 30, to Wednesday, October 2, are GJD, Bold Communications, TDSi, and IDL.
GJD will be celebrating its 30th anniversary by highlighting the Pearl Window Detector, which IFSEC Global co-produced an infographic about last month. GJD will be on stand D51.
Bold Communications will be exhibiting on stand D55. Managing director Brian Kelly explained how Turkey’s GDP growth rate of 8.5 percent is “second only to China”. He continued:
Turkey is an attractive market for any ambitious security solutions company. Bold provides innovative and high-quality monitoring technology, which is an excellent fit for a rapidly expanding security sector like Turkey. We hope to meet many new contacts and make many new friends at IFSEC Istanbul.
TDSi’s John Davies meanwhile explained how important overseas exhibitions were to his organisation. He said that such events were “essential in helping BSIA Export Council members forge links with overseas companies”.
